New study shows CB1/2 activators slow pancreatic & breast cancer cell growth, block colony formation, and trigger cell death!
Slowed cancer growth: These drugs reduced how fast cancer cells grow and their ability to form new groups of cells (colonies). Triggered cell death: The drugs activated a process that causes cancer cells to self-destruct (apoptosis). Dose matters: The stronger the dose of the drug, the more it slowed cell growth and colony formation. How it works: The drugs increased levels of a protein (Bax) that promotes cell death and decreased levels of another protein (Bcl-2) that normally helps cells survive. Source
Could CBD be a game-changer for breast cancer? New study shows it kills cancer cells, stops tumor growth, and may boost standard treatments!
CBD fights cancer cells: It helps kill cancer cells, stops them from growing, and prevents them from spreading. Changes the tumor environment: CBD makes it harder for tumors to thrive. Affects key pathways: It influences processes in the body (like PI3K/Akt, mTOR, and PPARγ) that control cell growth and survival. Works with receptors: CBD interacts with CB1, CB2, and other receptors to produce its effects. Strong in lab studies: Especially effective against triple-negative breast cancer in early research. Promising in human trials: Limited studies suggest CBD could work alongside standard cancer treatments. Source
Can Cannabis Ease Nerve Pain? New Studies Reveal Surprising Pain Relief and Quality-of-Life Boosts!

Can cannabis help you stay slimmer? Study of 6,348 people shows current users have up to 73% lower risk of obesity & smaller waists!
Current cannabis users had a lower chance of: Central obesity (55% less likely). BMI-based obesity (73% less likely). Being overweight (53% less likely). Former cannabis users also had lower risks, but the effect was weaker. Both current and former cannabis users had smaller waist sizes and lower BMI compared to non-users. Source
Could medical cannabis transform kids' lives?
Medical cannabis may benefit quality-of-life symptoms in pediatric patients with: Cancer Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Treatment-resistant epilepsy Sturge-Weber Syndrome (SWS). Source
New Cannabis Breakthrough! Scientists uncover 2 new compounds & 6 cannabinoids in C. sativa flowers that pack a punch against neuroblastoma (cancer) cells
Researchers extracted 11 substances from Cannabis sativa flowers. Two new substances were found: cannabielsoxa and 132-hydroxypheophorbide c ethyl ester. Six known cannabinoids (substances typical to cannabis) were also identified. Three chlorin-type substances (pyropheophorbide A, 132-hydroxypheophorbide b ethyl ester, and ligulariaphytin A) were found in this plant for the first time. Cannabinoids were better at stopping the growth of neuroblastoma (a type of cancer) cells compared to chlorin-type substances. Source
