Could CBD Slow Parkinson's Progression?
CBD reduced reserpine-caused catalepsy (a condition causing muscle stiffness and inability to move) when given as a preventive treatment (before symptoms). CBD helped protect a brain area (substantia nigra pars compacta) from losing TH (tyrosine hydroxylase, a marker of healthy dopamine-producing neurons) in both preventive (before symptoms) and concurrent (during symptoms) treatments. Conclusion: CBD showed benefits in reducing movement problems and protecting brain cells in a model of progressive Parkinson’s disease caused by reserpine. The preventive use of CBD (before symptoms) was especially effective. Source
Could CBD be a game-changer for Alzheimer’s?
Reduces harmful proteins: CBD lowers the buildup of pTau and Aβ proteins, which are linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Improves brain cell communication: CBD helps these proteins move better between brain cells in areas important for memory. Fights brain inflammation: CBD encourages brain immune cells (microglia) to act in a protective way and reduces inflammation-causing chemicals in an Alzheimer’s mouse model. Boosts memory: Daily CBD injections (10 mg per kg) for 28 days improved short-term and long-term spatial memory in these mice. Supports brain cell growth: CBD partially reverses damage to brain cell extensions (neurites) caused by Alzheimer’s-related proteins, potentially aiding brain repair. Protects brain cells: CBD decreases harmful molecules (ROS) and helps brain cells survive better despite Alzheimer’s protein clumps. Source

Could CBD Oil + Omega-3 Be the Breakthrough for Nerve Pain?
Pain Relief: Combining CBD-rich cannabis oil with omega-3 (ω-3) helped stop increased sensitivity to heat and touch in people with nerve pain. Improved Movement: The treatment also reduced movement problems caused by nerve damage. Nerve Protection: The combination helped protect nerves from further damage due to a condition called CCI (chronic constriction injury). Source
