CBD’s Cancer-Fighting Power? New Study Shows It Reverses Aggressive Breast Cancer Cell Behavior!
Key findings: They found new proteins linked to the aggressive behavior (EMT) and CBD’s ability to reverse it. 24 proteins were affected in opposite ways by IL-1β (which makes cells aggressive) and CBD (which calms them down), showing how these two substances interact. Source
Can CBD + laser therapy stop deadly skin cancer in its tracks?
Malignant Melanoma (MM): A deadly skin cancer that kills many people because there aren’t many effective treatments. Photodynamic Therapy (PDT): A cancer treatment that uses light and drugs to kill cancer cells. It’s popular because it’s strong and doesn’t harm healthy cells much. Problem with MM: MM tumors vary a lot, which makes treatments like PDT less effective, and the cancer often comes back after treatment. Cannabidiol (CBD): A non-psychoactive compound from cannabis (doesn’t make you high). Studies show it can work with other cancer drugs to make them more effective. CBD Challenges: CBD isn’t easily absorbed by the body because it doesn’t mix well with water, gets broken down quickly, and doesn’t stay in the system long. Nanotechnology Solution: Tiny tech tools can improve CBD’s absorption, make it more effective, and help it target cancer cells more precisely. Source
Can medical cannabis ease chronic pain & boost mental health?
Pain: Pain and its impact on daily life decreased significantly, especially in the first 6 months. Improvements lessened slightly by 12 months.
Mental health: Depression, anxiety, and stress improved consistently over the year, with about half of patients seeing major benefits. Sleep: Sleep quality got better and stayed improved throughout the study. Medication use: Many patients used fewer pain medications in the first 6 months. Source

Could lesser-known cannabis compounds revolutionize mental health treatment?
Promising findings: Δ8-THCV: Could help with nicotine addiction. Δ9-THCV: Might reduce symptoms of psychosis. CBDA-ME: Showed potential to ease anxiety and depression symptoms. CBDV: May help with symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. Source
"The Role of Cannabis in Modern Skincare Regimens"
"Perhaps the most well-documented benefit of cannabis in skincare is its anti-inflammatory capability. Inflammation underlies many common conditions, including: Acne Rosacea Eczema Psoriasis Contact dermatitis" Source
Could CBD & Green Tea Be the Ultimate COVID-19 Blockers?
Key findings: Blocking virus entry: CBD and green tea compounds were the best at stopping the virus from getting into cells, similar to a drug called chloroquine. Reducing virus spike protein: EGCG was the best at lowering the amount of the virus's spike protein (the part that helps it infect cells). Lowering ACE2: CBD significantly reduced ACE2, a protein on cells that the virus uses to enter. Protein interactions: EGCG affected 11 proteins that interact with the virus's spike protein, which could weaken the virus. Gene effects: Both CBD and EGCG changed how certain virus-related genes worked, with CBD having a stronger effect. Biological pathways: CBD and EGCG influenced similar processes in the body, like DNA repair, cell growth, and protein production, which could help fight the virus. Teamwork: Using CBD and EGCG together could block the virus at multiple stages (entry and reinfection) while balancing out any negative effects on ACE2 levels. Big picture: The study suggests that combining CBD and EGCG could be a new way to fight COVID-19 by attacking the virus in different ways. Source
