Cannabis Compounds Show Promise in Fighting Ovarian Cancer!
Two modified versions of CBD (called derivatives 19 and 21) were much better at killing cancer cells than regular CBD.Regular CBD needed a higher amount (22.9 µM) to reduce cancer cell growth by half. Derivative 19 needed only 5.5 µM, and derivative 21 needed just 4.1 µM to achieve the same effect. These derivatives seem to work by triggering cell death processes (apoptosis and ferroptosis) in the cancer cells. They also tested combining CBD or its derivatives with cisplatin, a common chemotherapy drug.Combining derivative 19 or 21 with cisplatin worked better together than either one alone, showing a "synergistic" effect (like a teamwork boost). This combo caused more harmful molecules (reactive oxygen species) to build up in cancer cells, which likely helped kill them. Source
Unlocking the Breast Cancer-Fighting Secrets of Lebanese Cannabis!
Conclusion: Our research found that CBD and THC from Lebanese cannabis can help fight breast cancer. These compounds work together to break down cancer cells, causing them to die off rather than spread. They do this by triggering the cells' own self-destruct mechanism, not by mainly changing how cells recycle waste. Plus, they stop cancer cells from moving and invading other parts of the body. Struggling to sleep? This cannabinoid supplement boosted sleep quality, eased insomnia, and uplifted health in a groundbreaking study!
Compared to the placebo, the cannabinoid supplement significantly improved:Sleep quality and efficiency (how well people slept). Insomnia symptoms (fewer sleep problems). Overall health and quality of life. The cannabinoid supplement showed some improvement in mood (less tension, anger, fatigue, depression, and more energy) and anxiety, but these weren’t strong enough to be considered significant. The placebo group saw a significant improvement in self-esteem. Both groups (cannabinoid and placebo) felt more energetic compared to before the study. Anxiety improved significantly for the cannabinoid group. No side effects were reported. Source
Cannabis Breakthrough: Could THC & CBD Revolutionize Cancer Treatment? Study Uncovers Game-Changing Potential for Pain, Nausea, and Tumor Growth!
