CBD crushes colorectal cancer cells
This study reports that CBD slashes aggressive prostate cancer cell survival by up to 37%!
CBD killed a significant number of the cancer cells (reduced their survival by up to ~37%)
It triggered programmed cell death (called apoptosis) — basically telling the cancer cells to self-destruct in a controlled way
Caused the cell's DNA to break apart (DNA fragmentation — a clear sign of cell suicide)
Disrupted the mitochondria (the cell's power plants), damaging their energy-producing membrane and causing a drop in cellular energy (ATP)

A study in Phytomedicine reports CBD 'unlocks' a hidden cancer-fighting gene to STOP melanoma spread!
CBD enters the cancer cells and "wakes up" a helpful protein inside them called PPARγ (think of it like flipping an "on" switch for a helpful tool).
This PPARγ protein then teams up with another protein called TET1 — they form a little partnership (a "complex") that works together like a tiny cleaning crew.
Their job? They act like a DNA eraser — they gently remove tiny chemical "locks" (called methyl groups) that are stuck on the DNA.
When those chemical locks get removed from a particular spot, it "unlocks" and turns on an important gene called LRSAM1 (a newly discovered cancer-fighting gene).
Once LRSAM1 levels rise, it acts like an internal alarm for the cancer cells: → The cells start dying off naturally (a clean process called apoptosis). → They stop growing and multiplying so aggressively.

The Journal of Translatational Medicne reports: Non-psychoactive CBD shows serious promise against gliomas!
How might CBD help with gliomas? (gliomas = a type of brain tumor)
It can trigger cell suicide (called apoptosis) in cancer cells
It messes up the cancer cells' energy factories (mitochondria) It causes autophagy (the cell basically eats itself from the inside)
It seems to reduce the "stem-like" properties of stubborn cancer stem cells (GSCs) that make tumors hard to kill
It may make radiotherapy and chemotherapy work better when used together
It could help protect normal brain cells/nerves and ease some symptoms

Journal of Affective Disorders reports: Can cannabis help with Depression? UK's largest medical cannabis registry says Yes!
698 depression patients saw MAJOR improvements in mood, anxiety, sleep & quality of life over 2 FULL YEARS
Patients reported clear improvements in depression, anxiety, sleep, and overall quality of life at every check-up point compared to when they started (and these changes were highly statistically significant).
The biggest improvements usually happened in the first 3 months. At the start, about half the patients had severe anxiety along with their depression (the two problems were strongly linked).
An article in PubMed says CBD crushes colorectal cancer cells in lab tests!
Pure CBD was clearly the strongest at killing the cancer cells and stopping them from growing in both cell types.
The CBDA-rich real cannabis extract surprisingly worked better at slowing cell growth than just mixing pure CBDA + CBD together — suggesting other natural compounds in the plant help make it more effective.
Bottom line / Conclusion: CBD had the strongest overall effects on stopping cancer cell survival and changing gene activity. CBDA alone showed only weak activity. The whole-plant extract rich in CBDA worked better than a simple mixture of pure CBD + CBDA — hinting that the natural combination of compounds in cannabis might be more powerful than isolated ones. The
