The NIH reports: Cannabis compounds may fight breast, prostate & colon cancers!
Breast cancer findings: Trigger cancer cell death (apoptosis). Stop cancer cells from growing and spreading.
Colorectal (colon/rectum) cancer findings: Kill or weaken colorectal cancer cells that resist regular chemotherapy. Block cancer spread (metastasis). Reduce new blood vessel growth in tumors. Lower inflammation, which can fuel cancer.
Prostate cancer findings: Block the release of tiny packets that help cancer grow and spread. Slow cell growth. Prevent invasion into other tissues. Trigger cancer cell death.

This study reports: CBD slashed anxiety symptoms for 79%!
For anxiety: In the first month of adding CBD, 79.2% (57 out of 72) reported lower anxiety symptoms.
This improvement generally lasted throughout the time they were followed.
For sleep: In the first month, 66.7% (48 out of 72) reported better sleep quality.

This PubMed study reports: CBD calm's the brain's fear center!
CBD appears to dial down the brain's over-reaction to negative emotions in the amygdala for people with alcohol addiction.
This supports the idea that CBD could help fix emotion-processing problems in AUD.
It suggests CBD has promise as a treatment to reduce cravings and prevent relapse triggered by bad moods, stress, or negative feelings.
